Killzone: Shadow Fall racconterà gli eventi accaduti 30 anni dopo la trilogia originale, in un mondo in cui la guerra civile impazza tra Helghast e Vektani. La campagna singola dovrebbe durate oltre 10 ore, secondo quanto dichiarato dal game director Steven Ter Heide.
