La home page di Google MAlesia è stata hackerata dal gruppo hacker “Team Madleets”, utilizzando una tecnica di DNS poisoning, ovvero ha dirottato le comunicazioni dirette al server Google verso un altro server. Il gruppo hacker ( o un singolo hacker) è riuscito ad interrompere le comunicazioni per qualche ora lasciando visibile solo la schermata che segue.
Come si nota dall’intestazione potrebbe trattarsi di un solo hacker, Struck, facente parte dei 1337 (Leet), che ha eseguito l’attacco verso il motore di ricerca. Come indicato nella loro pagina Facebook, il gruppo non ha hackerato il sito per odio, ma l’avrebbe fatto semplicemente per dimostrare qualcosa.
We feel we need to alert anyone, that we don’t hack any country tlds for example google.com.my as a result of any kind of hate, We don’t hate anyone, We love all humanity, there is no obvious reason for stamping the tlds.
Least the reason is not any kind of hate.
Whatever the reason is we can’t explain except we love all of you.

Intervistato via mail da TechCrunch, un hacker del gruppo avrebbe poi riferito che l’unico intento che avevano era quello di dimostrare che la sicurezza informatica è solo un’illusione: nessun obbiettivo politico quindi:
